The answer might be out there, but you’ll not find it in this whodunnit for Supercell’s mobile team battler. A Lunar New Year thriller that avoids holiday tropes, this is a thriller complete with suspense and dread to tease the action during the peak season of harmony, goodwill and family bonding.
Directed by Berlin International Film Festival winner Diao Yinan, whose mastery of suspense has us guessing still.
